Pod Systems

Pod systems are usually smaller MTL (Mouth-To-Lung) vaping devices. But in some cases they are larger DL (Direct-To-Lung) devices. The main distinction between pod systems and regular traditional kits is the fact that the mod (or battery) in unique to the pod. So, the pod and the mod (or battery) are married and will only connect to each other and you cannot use that particular pod on other devices. Whereas with regular kits, you can switch your tanks and mods around easily.

This makes pods a little more basic and you are stuck with the system of that particular pod kit. Despite the lack of compatibility, pod systems are extremely popular with many people preferring them over other vape systems.

POD SYSTEM FAQs

These days there are far too many pod kits and different pod systems to know which ones are the best. But, if you are new to vaping and looking at getting something that is simple and easy to use, then a pod system is definitely worth having a look at.

Pod systems are basically vape kits that have components that are only compatible with that particular kit. So, the pod can only be used on the battery for that mod. Most vape brands will have a series of pod kits on offer. As you are looking through them, you may notice that some have wattage variability, adjustable airflow or removable coils. While other will not have these features. Its just a matter of deciding what is best for you.

In most cases, pod kits are not that powerful and are for MTL (Mouth-To-Lung) vaping. However, there are example of pod systems that are very powerful and can be used at high wattages for DL (Direct-Lung) vaping. An example of this is Freemax Maxus MAX 168W Starter Kit, that can deliver wattages up to 90W.
