STEP-BY-STEP: HOW TO CLEAN THE PAX PLUS
Cleaning the PAX Plus and Pax Mini vaporizers is a crucial part of maintaining its performance and longevity. Regular cleaning helps ensure optimal vapour production and helps to bring out the best flavour from your herbs. To clean the PAX Plus, start by removing the mouthpiece and oven lid. Use a cleaning brush or pipe cleaner to gently remove any residue or debris from the oven chamber and the screen. For stubborn buildup, you can use isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab to carefully clean these areas. Make sure to thoroughly rinse and dry all components before reassembling the vaporizer. Regular cleaning and maintenance of the PAX vaporizer will not only enhance your vaping experience but also prolong the lifespan of your device.
STEP 1
Remove the bottom oven lid and the mouthpiece. Then take the wire brush and insert it into the air pipe underneath the mouthpiece. Bush the wire brush right through to the bottom of the PAX and this will push our the oven screen.
Take out the 3D oven screen and place it, along with the mouthpieces, in a dish containing isopropyl alcohol. Allow them to soak for a few minutes.
Note: That the oven lid should not be soaked in isopropyl alcohol. Instead, you can wipe it clean with a cloth or paper towel soaked in isopropyl alcohol.
STEP 2
Dip a cotton swab into isopropyl alcohol and use it to clean the crevices and corners of the oven, ensuring the removal of any stains or residue. Be careful not to use anything that will scratch the inside of the oven. Gently use the swab to remove any buildup of residue, you could also use a isopropyl wipe. This process can take a few minutes it clear out all the stains and residues.
STEP 3
Dip a pipe cleaner (or wire brush) into isopropyl alcohol. Insert it into the air tube hole and slowly pull it through, thoroughly cleaning the air path. If it has been a while since you cleaned the PAX Vaporizer, there may be some build-up and you could use the wire brush first to remove the stubborn residues and then use the pipe cleaner after, to finish it off. It is recommended to give the tube a good clean with the isopropyl alcohol and a brush or a pipe cleaner and then give it a final go over with a clean pipe cleaner to remove any isopropyl alcohol remaining in the pipe.
STEP 4
Dry all the components and areas that have been cleaned using a cloth or paper towel. It is important to remove the isopropyl alcohol used in the cleaning process.
Once dry, reassemble the device, and your PAX Plus will be as good as new.
Before using the device, give the PAX Vaporizer a dry run (turn it on and heat the oven without adding herbs) to remove any cleaning residues that are in the oven and air pipe.
